Translated by Hossein Achtchi
Verily, I am, in all truth, the Lord God!
There is none other God besides Me the Merciful the All-Compassionate.
Verily, I am, in all truth, the Lord God!
There is none other God besides Me the Sovereign, the Exalted.
Verily, in all truth, it is I Who created, through My decree, all beings and fashioned all of existence, as a token of My generosity.
I do whatsoever pleaseth Me, for I am the All-Powerful, and I am the All-Knowing, the All Wise.
Through My bidding, the Sun hath shone forth from the horizon of the Kingdom of Heaven, and as a token of My abundant favors, the Nightingale of Paradise warbled the melody that:
“Verily, this is the Beauty of the Lord in the Realm of Creation, the Manifestation of God in the exalted Kingdom of Heaven, God’s innermost mystery in the majestic Realm of Eternity, and the Quintessence of Preexistence in this Resplendent snow-white vesture.
Verily, thus I had ever been, from the beginning of every beginning, the Lord, the One , the Incomparable, the Life-Giving, the Eternal, the Ever-Lasting, the Abiding, the Living, the Loving, the Omnipotent, the Well-Beloved and the Self-Subsistent,
and I shall ever remain the King, the Sovereign, the Judge, the Omniscient, the All-Mighty, the All-Powerful, the Eternal, the Living, the Ever-Abiding, the Fashioner and the Adored One.”

One thought on “Tablet of I Am God”

  1. This is a wonderful affirmation of what the Bab said Baha’u’llah would say. “Dwelling on the glorification of Him Whom God shall make manifest — exalted be His Manifestation — the Báb in the beginning of the Bayan saith: ‘He is the One Who shall proclaim under all conditions, “Verily, verily, I am God, no God is there but Me, the Lord of all created things. In truth all others except Me are My creatures. O, My creatures! Me alone do ye worship.”‘ (Baha’u’llah, Tablets of Baha’u’llah, p. 53)

But on other occasions, He uses a different voice.
